Privacy Policy

We keep your Etsy conversations and customer data on your devices. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

What AItsy does

AItsy is a Chrome extension that runs inside your Etsy Messages tab. It reads the conversation you have open to draft replies you control. Nothing is sent until you approve it.

Data we process

  • Etsy message content (in-page only): Used transiently to draft a reply while you have the tab open. We do not store or reuse this content.
  • Shop rules you save in the sidebar: Stored locally in your browser’s storage so the extension can reuse them for drafts. They are not transmitted to our servers.
  • Extension diagnostics: Basic error logs to improve stability. No buyer messages or credentials are included.

What we do not collect

  • We never collect your Etsy credentials, payment details, or buyer contact information.
  • We do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

How AI and APIs are used

We send the minimum text needed to generate a draft reply to OpenAI’s API over HTTPS. We do not allow training on your prompts or outputs. Provider-side retention follows the vendor’s default security and retention settings.

Security

  • All network calls are encrypted over HTTPS.
  • Local data (like saved shop rules) stays in browser storage tied to your account.
  • Access is limited to the Etsy tab where you run the extension.

Your choices

  • You can remove saved rules at any time inside the extension sidebar.
  • You can uninstall the extension at any time via the Chrome Extensions page.
  • If you want us to delete diagnostic data associated with your account, email aitsy.help@gmail.com.

Children

AItsy is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Updates

We may update this policy as AItsy evolves. We will post the latest version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
